Requirements/Procedures for Program Advertisements

Advertising space is limited—all ads will be accepted on a first-come, space available basis. Ad copy and full payment must be received by July 27, 2008 for Onsite Conference Program and Educator Wellness Magazine. If ad space is not available, we will return your payment. See specifications below.

AD FILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Label CD or Zip Disk with Contact Name, Company Name and On-Site Program and Texas Magazine Advertisement.
• Macintosh compatible files supplied on Zip (100 MB) or CD-R.
• Our supported design programs are QuarkXpress, Illustrator and Pagemaker.
• PDF files are acceptable. The resolution must be compatible with SWOP standards (Press optimized) and all fonts must be embedded in the document.
• When supplying electronic files, all screen and printer fonts, and printouts must be provided.
PLEASE, MAKE SURE ALL FILES INDICATED BELOW ARE INCLUDED ON DISK:
• Copy of all TrueType and PostScript Fonts used within the document.
• All final high resolution scans/images used within the document. They all should be at least 300 ppi (pixels per inch).
• All scans & artwork must be converted to CMYK from RGB.
• All picture files should be saved in either TIFF or EPS formats
• A 4-color process job consists of the colors CMYK; if you base the colors of your design by Pantone (or other spot) colors, please make sure to convert the colors into process separation.
